I have
eaten
the
plums
that
were in
the
icebox
and
which
you were
probably
saving
for
breakfast
Forgive
me
they
were delicious
so sweet
and so
cold

Write your own ambivalent apology
for something you really enjoyed. Write in short, rhythmic lines with
simple, direct, vivid language. Try to maintain a matter-of-fact tone.
